Not the smartest idea in the world to partake in all you can eat Indian buffet on one of the hottest days of the summer so far. Yeah. . . . BUT, in shock and much excitement that the Indian buffets in New York are back baby. (After being shutdown due to COVID for the past few years). I can honestly say, I haven't done an Indian buffet in years. But this one was solid. For only $20 on weekends and like $14-15 on weekday lunches you can get your gluttony on. Note, it ends at 3pm. They had a tray of various sauces, 2 types of rice (get the lamb biryani), and an array of different curry and entree dishes (probably about 6 or 7), as well as a few more dishes off to the side. Nice setup. My favorites were the traditional Chicken Tikka Masala, the Saag Paneer, and some kind of vegetable curry. The goat curry was real nice too and had a kick but tricky with pulling out the bones. Was surprised they also drop down a complimentary basket of steaming hot buttery naan bread. Hellll yeahs. Ended my meal with trying some Gulab Jamun (indian donut holes). Never tried them before and they were nice and warm and delicious. I was uncomfortably full and had slopped curry down my yellow dress. The only negative feedback I really have elsewise it would be five stars all around is that the service is rough. Getting your bill to pay and leave took like a half hour and it felt like they were helping everyone else but us and then got busy with chatting with customers. It was a nightmare trying to leave. But beforehand everything was delicious.

Been on the hunt for ayce indian lunch buffet since they got rid of it during COVID. So glad they have returned! Even rarer that it is available on the weekend. Amazing selection for ayce lunch buffet. It was dark inside so it was hard to see what I was eating, but it was made up by tasting amazing. Seasoning was delicious, not to mention spicy. Some highlights: chicken tikka masala (my go-to), palag paneer, Rogan josh, samosa. Chaat was a little salty but good in moderation. They even gave us a basket of naan, then another one when it was running low, which was a pleasant surprise. Assuming it's unlimited. Highly recommend.

I went got weekend lunch buffet which runs from 11-3pm for 19.99. It runs on the weekdays for cheaper. I got there at aproximately 1pm at the place was basically packed. Im so happy the ayce indian buffet has returned since disappearing since Covid. The ambiance of the place is very cozy and intimate with the low ambient light even in daytime which i thought was weird. The food was very fresh because of the high turnover of customers. The nann was also very rich with butter and served pipping hot to order. The tandoori chicken was a highlight even tho it was limited to one serving wish it was more. The butter chicken was smooth tender and flavorful. Loved the saang paneer it was buttery and creamy The chicken briyani was well seasoned Another poppular highlight was samosa chaat which was refilled constantly since it was so popular. Dessert the rice pudding was perfect not overly sweet and was perfect texture. Because its cramped it could be challenging to get food in limited space. The service was a litttle slow because it was crowded and it took a good amount of time to get our check.

I wanted to take a minute to update my old review of this very dependable Indian restaurant The staff are nice. The seating is OK. The food is very good. I miss the beer on tap that was offered pre pandemic. You get started off with papadum with a bunch of condiments. We shared an excellent order of samosas and tried fried slices of eggplant in a tamarind sauce. I don't usually like sweet foods, but this was awesome. We shared a very generous Tandoori mixed grill that hit all of the high notes and lamb bhuna, one of their best dishes. The sauce was moderately spicy and complex. The naan was very good. Don't sleep on their buffet lunch. It's around $20 and usually offers lamb curry, chicken tikka masala, 4 or so vegetarian dishes and one other interesting dish that changes on a rotating basis, along with tandoori drumsticks for the table. Very reliable place with very good food that's reasonably priced.
